Energy efficiency and zoning. VAV (Variable Air Volume) systems are the modern standard for Class A business centers and hotels. They allow air to be supplied only to rooms where people are currently present. For example, if a meeting room is empty, the valve automatically closes, reducing the load on the central fan. This can save up to 40% of electricity on ventilation and cooling.
Operating principle. We supply valves with high-precision actuators (e.g., Belimo) that smoothly regulate the damper position. Control is based on signals from room thermostats, occupancy sensors, or air quality sensors (CO2). CAV (Constant Air Volume) valves maintain a set air volume regardless of pressure fluctuations in the system, which is critically important for balancing complex networks.
Laboratories and Clean Zones. AYSU equipment is also used in medical facilities and laboratories where strict pressure balance (positive or negative pressure) must be maintained to prevent the transfer of contaminated air.
